So many things have happened since my last post, and not only to me. The world's changing and I'm not sure if we can say we're lucky to see it.
At least not everything is doom and gloom. I found out not long ago that I am pregnant.. About 6 1/2 months atm :D Chris and I are stoked and can't wait to meet the newcomer to our growing family. Also, we're moving into a bigger place, as my unit won't fit us much longer, lol. Chris's stuff still needs to be moved in.
I'm due the 22nd of July, exactly a month before a friend of mine, Leesa, is due to give birth to her first. Seems to be a sizable baby boom happening.. Half the people you see these days are pregnant.
It's exciting, we've all been comparing notes and stuff... It's nice to see what others are going through as you are going through it. Makes it all feel less daunting.
We don't know what the sex of the baby is, as while in the Ultrasound, the baby decided to lie in the wrong position, so it's leg covered when the nurse needed to check. Chris didn't want to know in the first place, but I did. Very much so. Now I have to wait like everyone else.
A friend of mine, Catherine, found out she was pregnant as well only a week or 2 ago... She's very early on yet but suffering for terrible morning sickness. Poor thing. Hopefully it won't last much longer.

My friend Jo's probably having the worst year. She found out her stepdad has cancer (Gordon is awesome), her mum has an operation on her sinuses, her husbands parents both have a type of cancer, and she thinks she may have cervical cancer on top of it.
Seems to be one thing after another for her. I really wish her all the best, and I pray they come out on top. It can't all be bad for her.. at least, i hope not. She and her family just have to keep strong.
I think that's about it, for the time being... Ooh, I've almost finished the blanket I've been crocheting for over a year now.. I think the baby gave me the motivation to do something about it. All i need to do is put the squares together and I'm done. Then I can start on my sister's one. Yay me :P
